We've been working crazy hours getting SplatterHouse to Alpha, the game is looking really cool. Aside from that I've been working on some pin-ups for the new Stryfe's Strikefile. Bishop, Cable, Styfe, Deadpool (future), Wolverine, Apocalypse, and X-Force. I'll start to post them up this weekend

Cover #3 to Wolverine Manifest Destiny...my favorite of the bunch, it gave me the opportunity to pay homage to the great Bob Peak who created the original Enter the Dragon poster I've had on my wall for years...

Sup you guys, finally something new. This cover is for an upcoming Wolverine mini, I was lucky enough to be tapped to do all 4 covers. Unfortunately the book got pushed from
July to October but still it was definitely fun to work on...3 more to go!!!!!!

This is the Original image for the EGM cover, the editors of the magazine wanted Rick to tear through the actual cover page and this is what was submitted, as you can see it changed quit a bit on the other end....D

Finally I can tell people what I'm working on for a living-lol I work with some awesome concept artists, Roger Robinson, Chris Legaspi, Francis Tsai, and Peter Han. Now that this thing is all over the web we can show it around- Given the 2 Day turnaround to get the cover done-We shared the load- Peter did the sic sketch, and I put the Paint where Aint...

Will the real Steve Rogers please stand up?!!!!!!

I just got a gig doing a long running story in Marvel Comics Presents, written by awesome Blade and Wolverine writer Marc Guggenheim. The story is gonna be nutty and gritty- I'm doing tonally painted pages for MCP - and I'll post a couple real soon so you can see the look and feel be sure and pick up issue 1 in December...gonna be crazy

Colors...

so my man Aaron Limonick helped me come up with a color scheme for MK and here it is...fingers crossed it'll pass

So this is the final approved tonal- the background is going off in crazy directions that will be edited out for logo and barcode placement but other than that-OFF TO COLORS!!!!!!!!!!!

the wife and I went to Europe on vacation, man I need a summer home in Florence -all I'm gonna say-Fantastic!! When I got back, my buddy the incomparable colossal, amazing animation badass Jose Lopez- helped me rework the pose a bit...and it looks WAAAaay better for it...Unfortunately I have to stop here for now and jump onto Moon Knight-post soon-D

Wolverine stage 1....

I'm a huge fan of Michael Golden and Art Adams version of the man- the short 5 foot tall - 5 feet wide covered in hair- As well as the match ups with him and the Hulk always great fun- I hung out Thursday with the great Charlie Wen (the badass concept artist on God of War and the upcoming Gatchaman film) and he told me those beautiful paintings he does- he does straight into the computer he just starts rendering so I gave it a shot myself...I really hope he doesn't see this-HA!

So I went foliage nuts to fill up the surrounding image, with alot of grain overlay to add noise and haze to the background to hide my sloppy speed strokes...when I finish Wolverine I'll post the steps for this particular background up here ...D

It's plotted by my co-pilot/ writer Chris Baylon and inked by the infamous-seriously the guy is a menace Theron Jacobs - I just showed up and ate tons of food and the smeared my face on the page- so you see what you get. Hopefully when it's all said and done my man Tony Washington with provide colors although alot of people think I should go black and white-alot of people being Tony Washington
